What we are looking for:

The Associate Director will be primarily responsible for driving sales through new Managed Service Provider (MSP) account acquisition in the U.S. while also coordinating all sales, renewal and customer retention activity with the extended regional teams covering the territory. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to/through MSPs and a proven, successful track record toward quota attainment in new account acquisition and ramp up. This role will be required to manage all aspects of new account prospecting, education, training, and on-boarding, and post-acquisition sales support.

What you will do:

  • Achieve or exceed stated new partner origination and revenue production goals across the U.S.
  • Expand channel partnerships by building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers among channel prospects identified through agreed upon selection criteria and demonstration of commitment to business continuity or data protection services.
  • Drive new pipeline growth.
  • Assist in scoping and coordination of all initial and/or complex lead activity across originated partners.
  • Align with cross-departmental resources in Customer Support and Sales Operations to ensure customer concerns are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Participate in partner round tables and partner advisory boards contributing market feedback critical to partner retention and growth.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Years of experience: 7 or more years of relevant experience in data protection or infrastructure technology.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with Medium Business to Enterprise.
  • Existing relationships with US-based MSPs is a big plus.
  • A hunter mentality and approach.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and issue resolution toward a positive outcome.
  • High energy and commitment to achieving company goals and individual sales targets.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with unending enthusiasm to get the job done.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and expectation setting skills.
  • Team player with ability to manage a dedicated resource later.
  • Self-starter: leads and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks.
  • A positive attitude that is customer focused and contributes to our culture of turning all customers into evangelists!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross functionally to achieve successful outcomes for complex business objectives.
  • Sense of humor and intellectual curiosity.
  • Experience with MS Office tools, CRM like Zoho and Salesforce.
